BigCommerce - Error received upon installing or logging in to Syncee

This article shows how to solve the issue of receiving an error message while installing Syncee.

BigCommerce blocks the pop-ups and redirects by default, therefore, it may happen that you receive an error message during the installation or log in process.

In case you get the 'Something went wrong, Requested extension cannot be loaded. Please try to refresh the page' error in Chrome or in another browser, check if it occurs in Firefox as well or try the steps below to allow pop-ups in Chrome:

  1. Click on the lock icon in the top left corner

  2. Select the Site settings option

  3. Search for the Pop-ups and redirects option in the list and click on Allow

Once it is done and you go back to the site, you should be able to go through the installation process.
