In Syncee, categorizing your products as a supplier is a crucial step to ensure that potential retailers can easily find and understand your offerings. In this article you can find the steps how you can do it.
Categorizing your products in Syncee
Log into your Syncee account and navigate to the Supplier Center hub by clicking your initials at the top of the page
if you use Syncee on Shopify this step is not necessary
Go to the Products menu on the left-hand side and choose the Catalogs tab
Click on your catalog's name and navigate to the Categories page
Assign the original categories to the appropriate category in Syncee one-by-one or use bulk actions to speed up the process
Once it is done, click on the Save and next button.
By maintaining a well-structured and detailed categorization system, you enhance your chances of attracting more retailers through Syncee.
Keep in mind!
We can use the category that is in your store admin, and this can vary depending on the ecommerce platform your store is running - for example, in the case of Shopify, it is based on the product type.
We recommend assigning each product to the most relevant categories (a maximum of 2-3 categories). For example, for organic teas, we would suggest assigning them to ‘Tea’ and ‘Eco-friendly - Food & Drink’, as these are the most appropriate and related categories.
