In this article, we walk you through the process of setting up and customizing your pricing on Syncee as a supplier. Syncee offers flexible pricing rules, allowing you to sell your products to retailers at competitive prices while maintaining control over profit margins and discounts.

Set up your prices on Syncee

  1. Log into your Syncee account and navigate to the Supplier Center hub by clicking your initials at the top of the page

    1. if you use Syncee on Shopify this step is not necessary

  2. From here, go to the Products menu, select the Catalogs tab and choose the catalog you created

  3. Head to the Pricing tab, where you can define your pricing model and rules then choose the pricing model that best fits your product source from the dropdown menu:

    1. Wholesale price: Choose this if your product source already contains wholesale prices

    2. Retail price: Select this option if your source has retail prices, and you plan to offer discounts to provide wholesale pricing to retailers

  4. If you select the Wholesale price option, you need to define the suggested profit margin for retailers

    1. this margin will be added to your product prices to determine the Suggested retail price that retailers will see on Syncee and allow them to sell your products at competitive prices

    2. the pricing rule will apply to all products within the selected catalog, but you can set different rules for each product collection if needed

  5. If you choose the Retail price option, you can specify the discount that retailers will receive off your retail prices

    1. this discount ensures that your products are sold at wholesale prices while keeping your original retail price visible as the Suggested retail price for retailers

    2. you can define the discount in a percentage or a fixed amount

    3. the pricing rule will apply to all products within the selected catalog, but you can set different rules for each product collection if needed.

  6. Additionally, you can create a tiered pricing model by setting different discounts or price ranges

  7. You can set specific Rounding rules for your product prices

    1. this ensures that prices are displayed in a format that aligns with your preferences

  8. Once you have finished setting up your pricing rules, click on the Save button

  9. If your products are already available on Syncee, you’ll need to click the Sync button to ensure that the updated prices are reflected on the platform.

By using Syncee’s detailed pricing features, you can create a pricing strategy that aligns with your business goals. Whether you’re offering wholesale prices directly or applying discounts to retail prices, these customizable settings help you maintain control over how your products are priced and sold by retailers.
