How to delete products from your store that have been uploaded from our Marketplace?

Remove products from you Marketplace import list and from your store

It may happen that you wish to delete products you have previously uploaded to your store.

You can do so from the Syncee import lists you have or directly in your store too.

Deleting products using the Syncee import lists

There are two types of import lists in Syncee and the way you can delete products from the depends on them:

  • Selection type - when you selected products one-by-one in the Products option

  • Supplier type - when you have added the complete product catalog of the supplier from the Suppliers option

Selection type import lists

  1. Go to the Retailer Center at the top right section of the page by clicking on your initials

  2. Go to the Import List menu on the left side of the page

  3. Open the import list you wish to delete the products from

  4. Go to the Import list settings tab and make sure you have the following setting:

    1. What should Syncee do with the products that are not available? -> Delete

  5. In the Products tab select the products you wish to remove

    1. Check the boxes next to the products you wish to delete

  6. Click on the Actions tab

  7. Select Delete

  8. Sync the import list

Supplier type import lists

  1. Go to the Retailer Center at the top right section of the page by clicking on your initials

  2. Go to the Import List menu on the left side of the page

  3. Open the import list you wish to delete the products from

  4. Go to the Import list settings tab and make sure you have the following setting:

    1. What should Syncee do with the products that are not available? -> Delete

  5. In the Products tab set up the filter according to what you wish to exclude from the products

    1. You can filter out certain products one-by-one using their SKUs or IDs.

      • Please make sure you choose ' is not equal to' as a condition and you can select the SKUs from the drop-down list or you can add them manually

    2. You can filter out products in bulk as well selecting a category or vendor for example

      • Please make sure that the condition is on 'is not equal to' and choose the values from the drop-down list

  6. Once ready, click on Apply filter

  7. You will need to confirm that you wish to add/change the filters - click on Yes, update filter in the pop-up

  8. Sync the import list

Please note, the 'What should Syncee do with the products that are not available?' option means that the products have been removed from the import list by the supplier or you, it does not refer to the out of stock products. The products that reach 0 quantity could not be deleted automatically.

If you wish to remove all products from an import list, you have the option to delete the the import list itself:

  1. Go to the Retailer Center at the top right section of the page by clicking on your initials

  2. Go to the Import List menu on the left side of the page

  3. Click on the 3 dots at the end of the row of the import list you wish to delete

  4. Select the Delete option

  5. A confirmation window will open where you need to Click on Delete

The product deletion process will start and once it finishes, the managed products number in your account will update accordingly.

If you wish to delete more than one import list, it is advised not to delete them at the same time. We would suggest waiting until the products from one import list will be removed from the store and only then delete the next import list.

Deleting products from the store manually

You have the option to delete the products from your store as well.

If you wish to do so, you would need to select the products in your store admin page and delete them.

Please note, however, that if you use this method, it will be necessary to remove the products from the Syncee import lists as well, otherwise, with the next sync, they will be re-uploaded to the store.
