Syncee runs on many e-commerce platforms, out of which WooCommerce is one.

WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin and as you might know, WordPress can be hosted on your own servers as well or you could use a hosting provider specified for WordPress sites and WooCommerce stores.

Due to these facts, Syncee has different requirements and recommendations on how to set up your store.

Minimum Requirements

Suggested number of products: Up to 500

In order to run a WooCommerce store, WooCommerce only requires the following minimums:

  • PHP 7.2 or greater (note PHP 7.0 is End of Life on 3 Dec 2018; PHP 5.6 EOL is 31 Dec 18)

  • MySQL 5.6 or greater (or MariaDB 10 or greater)

  • WooCommerce 2.5 requires WordPress 4.1+

  • WooCommerce 2.6 requires WordPress 4.4+

  • WP Memory limit of 128 MB or higher

  • HTTPS support (an SSL certificate)

Recommended solutions

Hosting Providers

There are different hosting providers who provide their own servers so you could run your site from them.

WordPress has been working with many of them and you could find their recommendations on the link below:

With them, you are renting their servers and you would need to take care of the technicalities in most cases or you would need to pay them for such services.

Cloud-based hosting

This solution is what Syncee suggests using for the best experience.

In case you do not wish to work on the technicalities but jumpstart your business, https://wordpress.com/ is a cloud-hosting provider supported by WordPress experts.

The company behind them are the ones that created WordPress and WooCommerce.

They provide their own cloud-based solutions with many features such as scalability, automated backups, etc. with the guarantee from them that your store will be always online and working perfectly.

Please note that these are the recommendations for WooCommerce stores to run seamlessly and without any issues, however, due to the customizability of the stores, it could happen that there are other changes to be made in order to have the best user experience.
