Syncee allows retailers to rate suppliers, which helps build transparency and trust across the platform.

What do retailers see on your storefront?
On your public storefront, retailers can only see your average rating and the total number of reviews.

They cannot see who exactly submitted a review.

What can you see in your admin panel?
Under My Retailers → Reviews (or in Shopify: My Retailers → View reviews), you can view:

  • Which retailer submitted a review.

  • The review details (star rating, written feedback, date).

  • The connection status of the reviewer:

  • Verified retailer – the retailer has made an actual transaction with you.

  • Interested retailer – the retailer has shown interest but hasn’t placed an order.

How is the average rating calculated?
Reviews from verified partners are counted with full weight,

while reviews from interested retailers are counted with reduced weight.
This ensures that your overall rating mainly reflects genuine business experiences.

What if you believe a review is irrelevant?
You can report a review directly from your admin panel
(using the Report review button, or in Shopify by clicking the three dots next to the review and selecting Report review).
The Syncee team will then review the report and decide whether the rating should remain included in the overall average.

Why is this system beneficial for you?

  • It protects suppliers from irrelevant or malicious reviews.

  • It encourages ongoing retailer activity, bringing you more market feedback.

  • A transparent, weighted review system strengthens trust with potential partners.
