Managing your Alibaba orders - Overview

Once you receive orders for the products you have uploaded from Alibaba, they will be synchronized over to your Syncee account. Let's see how you can manage them.

  1. Go to the Retailer Center at the top right section of the page by clicking on your initials

  2. Go to the Orders menu

    1. Based on the settings in your Order Settings, you will see only the paid orders or all of them

  3. Select the order/orders you wish to pay for by clicking in the checkboxes next to them

  4. Click on Pay now to proceed to the Checkout page

    1. Select the shipping method for each supplier

      • If you see more separate orders here it means those products belong to different Alibaba.com suppliers. You have to pay for each supplier separately, and you have to select shipping options for them separately

    2. On the next page you will see the Payment Summary

      • Click on the link for the order there

      • Add your payment method to your Alibaba account

      • If you save the card or payment method, the next time you click on Pay Now, it will be done automatically for you so you do not need to log in and enter your details again

      • Please keep in mind that placing the order and paying for it are two different options. At first, the order is placed and then you need to pay for it

Status tracking for Shopify

If your store is on Shopify, you have the option to track the status changes of your orders.

When you receive an order, if you go to your Shopify store admin, you will be able to click on the Request Fulfillment button. This is not mandatory for you to be able to pay the orders, but a possible step for status tracking purposes.

Please note that this does not pay and place the order with your supplier, but change the status of the order to In progress. The order still needs to be paid for in your Syncee account. Once the order is shipped to your customer, the status of it will be kept updated.

You have the possibility to set up Syncee to place (and pay) the orders automatically if you go to your Account -> Order Settings.

!Syncee will download your order from your store, then place and pay the orders automatically to the Alibaba system with the cheapest shipping method. It works if you have proper payment settings in your Alibaba account. PLEASE NOTE: Syncee will only download and send orders with PAID status!

Let us see the different scenarios that you can have with automatizing the order methods in Syncee.

  1. Manually place the orders and then pay them

    1. This is the default setting. You have this when you do NOT have a saved payment method in Alibaba and your Alibaba order settings are on manual.

  2. Automatically place the order, but pay manually

    1. This way Syncee automatically places the orders with the cheapest shipping method, but you have to pay for them manually in Alibaba.

    2. This happens when you do NOT have a saved payment method in Alibaba and your Alibaba order settings are on Auto order

  3. Place the orders manually, but pay them automatically

    1. This way, you choose the shipping methods for the orders and then pay them automatically.

    2. This happens when you have a saved payment method in Alibaba and your Alibaba order settings are on manual.

  4. Fully automated -!USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

    1. This way, Syncee synchronizes the orders for you and you pay the orders automatically.

    2. This happens when you have a saved payment method in Alibaba and your Alibaba order settings are on Auto order
