TikTok Shop order with hidden information

Information about how TikTok manages the customer data.

By default, when you use TikTok Shop, the "Shipped via Platform" feature is enabled.

This means that, in the event you receive an order, you will be able to generate a shipping label directly on the TikTok Shop dashboard after packaging it.

However, in this case, TikTok will use asterisks to hide the sensitive informations and it will be shown in your Shopify and also in your Syncee orders menu.

Unfortunately, this can not be used by the supplier to fulfill your order.

If you change the above-mentioned "Shipped via Platform" to "Shipped by seller" the customer information will not be hidden, and when our app downloads the order from your Shopify store, all of the necessary data will be available.

In this case, when you pay for the order in Syncee, your supplier can start the fulfillment of the order on their side.

Please note: With the "Shipped by seller" option selected, you will need to mark the order as fulfilled in your TikTok Shop dashboard, and also, the tracking number needs to be added manually after the supplier fulfills the order.

The tracking information can be found in your Shopify order, because after the supplier fulfills the order, Syncee will synchronize this information into your Shopify order.
